Types and Working Principles of Hydraulic Control Valves

Hydraulic control valve is the water pressure control valve, it consists of a main valve and its attached catheter, pilot valve, needle valve, ball valve and pressure gauge and so on.

According to the different purposes, functions and places, type of hydraulic control valve can be turned into a remote control float valve, relief valve, the flow control valve, pressure relief valve, hydraulic control valve, pump control valve etc..

According to the structure, it can be divided into two categories diaphragm type and piston type.

The working principle and diaphragm type and piston type of the hydraulic control valve are the same, downstream pressure difference is P powered, controlled by the pilot valve, the diaphragm hydraulic has differential operation, fully automatic adjustment by the water, so that the main valve can be fully opened or fully closed plate or in regulation.

When entering the diaphragm pressure control room above the water is discharged to the atmosphere or the downstream low pressure area at the bottom of the valve plate, the pressure of the bottom of the diaphragm is greater than the pressure value, it will push the main valve disc to the full open position; when entering the diaphragm on the pressure of water can not control the interior of the discharged to the atmosphere or the downstream area of low pressure.

The role of the diaphragm is greater than the pressure above the bottom of the pressure, so will the main valve disc pressure is in the fully closed position; when the diaphragm is above the control room pressure value in the middle of the entrance pressure and outlet pressure, the main valve of the valve disc is in regulation, the regulation depends on the location of the needle catheter system and joint control of adjustable guide valve. Adjustable valve outlet pressure through the downstream and changes it to open with a small valve or close its mouth, thus changing the diaphragm pressure above the control room, to adjust the position control valve disc.
